On-Farm Learning Coming Soon

On-Farm Learning Coming Soon

We are in the process of building a brand new on-farm learning facility. The new shed will have areas for calf and lamb rearing, as well as a milking bay for our house cow and milking goat. Visitors will be able to get hands-on with our animals, helping to feed them and learning about how we care for them. From breeding Saddleback pigs to growing overground potatoes using wool from our sheep, there are learning opportunities at every turn!

On our farm we have a strong focus on animal welfare, producing food sustainably and caring for the environment. With fewer children growing up rurally these days, plus the advent of AI, it is more important than ever to get kids out on farms, learning about what we do, as food producers and caretakers of the land. Our visitors will be able to connect with nature here, learning to respect and understand their impact on the environment and how they can make positive change. They will interact with our friendly farm animals in a humane and high welfare environment, learning about their care and management.

We plan to start taking bookings in 2026, to school groups initially, with the potential for various exciting opportunities in the future, such as animal husbandry workshops for adults new to farm animal ownership.

Watch this space and follow our social media pages to keep up to date with progress!
