Created by veterinarian and farmer Sally Newall, Kiwi Country Kids On-Farm Learning aims to get kids back on the farm, learning about sustainable agriculture and connecting with the natural environment.

With fewer children growing up on farms, we are opening our farm gate, sharing what we do, as custodians of our animals and the land. Our aim is to keep children connected with sustainable agriculture, nature, animal care, dirt, wide open spaces and all the other great stuff that comes with life on the farm.

Group sizes are small and our sessions are interactive. Perfect for school class excursions, play centre, kindy and home school groups or private bookings. To keep up to date with what’s happening on our social media channels.

Caring For Our Animals

On our farm the animals come first. Welfare is prioritised and we share tips and tricks for looking after the residents of our farm, keeping them happy and healthy.

Growing Food Sustainably

Meat comes from our cattle, sheep and pigs. We milk our friendly cows and goats and collect fresh eggs from our chickens and ducks. We share how to grow and harvest vegetables and the importance of quality nutrition.

Protecting The Environment

See how we look after the natural environment, ensuring our waterways remain healthy and increasing the habitat for the native wildlife that calls our farm home.
